Here is a really simple granola bar recipe that takes minutes to make. It&#8217;s made with homemade granola. Get the homemade granola recipe here.
Most granola bar recipes call for butter and processed sugar&#8211;OK for an occasional treat, but certainly not something I want to serve my 4-year-old all the time.

This recipe uses coconut oil and maple syrup as healthier alternatives. Use brown rice syrup, agave nectar, or honey instead of maple syrup for a different flavor. (Honey will produce a &#8220;stickier&#8221; bar.&#8221;) We use peanut butter here, but other nut/seed butters will work as well (and will make these a  school-friendly snack.)
